Tekilla Skull

Tekilla is a packaging design or promotional package for a fictional, high quality tequila brand. The idea is not just to elevate the product through its packaging, but rather about making the packaging experience unique itself.

While the Tekilla Skull is a fun and extraordinary packaging design to hold a bottle of tequila, it also includes two shot glasses, which sit in the lower jaw of the skull and can be revealed by lifting the bottle out of the package.

Thanks to the clever mechanism, this process is completely reversible by just putting the bottle back into its place. The general design of the Tekilla Skull is inspired by the Mexican ‘Día de Muertos’, as is the name Tekilla.
