The proposal stands out for its innovative child-proof design, aimed at filling a critical gap in the market concerning children's home safety. Focusing on batteries, commonly found in every home and potentially dangerous if ingested, the packaging offers an effective and seamless solution to protect the little ones. Through a complex opening mechanism, designed to be accessible to adults but hindering to children, the risk of accidental battery ingestion is drastically reduced. Sustainability is a key element: the packaging is made entirely of cartonboard, eliminating the use of materials traditionally used in child-proof devices. The design process involved a careful analysis of risk and ergonomic requirements, culminating in a solution that combines safety, convenience and eco-sustainability. Looking to the future, expansion could include the creation of customised packaging for different types of batteries, thus extending the benefit of protection to the various products on the market.
