European Carton Excellence Awards: Your Chance to Win!
12 March 2020
The European Carton Excellence Award is Europe’s greatest showcase for outstanding cartonboard packaging and a great marketing and communications opportunity for the industry. All partners of the supply chain are welcome to enter. Final date for entry is the 21st May 2020. See here what last year’s winners had to say!
Ferit Dansik of PrintPark, winner Carton of the Year 2019: “Winning especially the carton of the year award gave us a great new taste and excitement. Winning is contagious, once you are a winner, you always like to win again and again. That’s why our team likes to improve its skills and try to check new possibilities more and more, so it helps to research and develop a lot. And customers invest more on nice cartons.”
The European Carton Excellence Award recognises and celebrates the most beautiful, functional, creative and successful cartonboard ideas. Cartonboard is the perfect example of the circular economy being renewable, recyclable and biodegradable. It is also one of the best in communicating brand values, whether that be for luxury brands or everyday goods.
Klaus Hockl from Cardbox Packaging (winner of the Innovation award): “Winning a European Carton Excellence Award was a tremendous honour for Cardbox Packaging. On the one hand, because innovation and smart developments are an important part of our daily work, on the other hand, because we were able to enjoy a high level of attention, especially as we are a medium-sized company and thus received ideal support for our image on the market.”
There will also be special awards for the carton that best demonstrates a reduction in the use of non-sustainable materials – the Save the Planet Award, and for the most innovative carton or new material – the Innovation Award. As last year, the consumer can vote for their favourite to select the winner of the Public Award. The top award ‘Carton of the Year’ will simply go to the best of the best, regardless of category of product or substrate.
Josep M. Berga from Alzamora (winner of the Innovation Award): “The European Carton Excellence Award has been very important for our company, in terms of well-done job recognition. It allows us to improve and reinforce our brand, corporate identity, image and reputation, as well as to receive high-impact attention from national and international media.”
