Pro Carton was delighted to be invited to be a part of the Education Hub at Packaging Innovations in Birmingham, UK in February 2020. The Education Hub, run by Earth Island, had been designed to showcase the opportunities the packaging industry has to offer to young professionals. The zone was also been designed to encourage packaging companies to offer the next generation of young talent work placement and apprenticeship opportunities. The Education Hub included a display of innovations from within the print, packaging, paper and design sectors, presented by leading companies in the industry, including FoilCo, Alexir Packaging and Pro Carton.
Pro Carton was able to promote the Pro Carton Young Designers Award to the young professionals in attendance. The 2019 Award brochure and the 2020 Award flyers were scooped up quickly with students taking additional flyers back to hand out at Universities and Colleges. We look forward to receiving these Young Designer entries before the Award deadline of 14th May 2020.
