“Young Professionals Attraction Index (YPAI) is a broad survey made by Academic Work in collaboration with Kantar Sifo. The purpose of the survey is to assist employers in understanding the values that tomorrow’s workforce, young professionals, prioritize when choosing an employer. This recognition reaffirms Billerud’s ongoing efforts to create an inspiring work environment where tomorrow’s talents are drawn and thrive.
“We are proud to once again be recognized as one of Sweden’s most attractive employers. This is a testament to the fact that Billerud’s sustainable leadership and inclusive corporate culture are designed to provide young professionals with the tools and environment they need for professional development and career success,” said Jimmy Hayashi, Director of People Development at Billerud.
One of the many young professionals of Billerud is Emilia Rinaldo who works as Operations Engineer at our Gruvön mill.
“For me, it’s important to work at a company that contributes to a more sustainable future. One of the things I like most about my job is that I get to develop in my role while also helping to improve the process so that we can deliver a high production and high-quality pulp to our paper- and board machines”, said Emilia.
About Young Professionals Attraction Index
The survey has been conducted since 2015, and this year, 3790 individuals participated in the Swedish segment of the study. In total, 12 107 participants from countries including Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany.
A young professional does not necessarily refer to age, but rather to someone at the beginning of their career journey with 0-5 years of work experience.
